About "Cars of Clay"

What is it? What does it mean?

"Cars of Clay" is an automotive ministry dedicated to helping people with their automotive needs both in our church and in our community.

The name "Cars of Clay" was taken from 2 Corinthians 4:7 that says:
"But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us."

This particular scripture talks about how important the message of Christ is that a Christian has to offer. This scripture also refers to the human body as a "jar of clay", or an earthen vessel, that is used to deliver the message of salvation.

The jar, or our bodies, have a definite purpose, but will eventually someday be rendered useless.

The same is true in this car ministry. The most important aspect of this ministry is the people, not the cars. This ministry is dedicated to helping people with their temporal needs, while encouraging them toward a closer walk with Christ.

We understand that our cars, like our "jars", will one day be broken and rendered useless. Therefore, the real focus of this ministry shall be the spiritual needs of the people we serve.

If you have any questions about cars, or your spiritual walk, please don't hesitate to contact us!
